We are looking for a Trainee - IT Solution Sales under #SGUnitedMidCareerPathways to be based in Singapore. Full details of the role are as under –

Duration of Attachment Offered – Upto 9 months (the right candidate with quick learning may be offer a regular job earlier)

Eligibility Criteria for SGUP-EA –

All Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible for the programme, with the exception of recent graduates who should apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme instead.

This traineeship will help you with –

  • Understanding of IT Solutions
  • Enhancing your presentation skills
  • Understanding on building of sales pipeline for a technology solutions and services company.

Competencies –

You have the following –

  • Good command over written and spoken English
  • Some basic understanding of IT solutions or some prior IT experience either sales or      technical
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in computer science or business management or a related field is preferred not mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

Specific Responsibilities:

At the end of 9 months of training you should be able to –

  • Trained on the IT Solutions selling.
  • Represent DBP to clients, prospects, partners, and colleagues in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Effectively and independently articulating / delivering DBP’s value proposition and solution offerings to prospects.
  • Investigate client’s needs, to qualify them and through a strong and deep understanding of solutions, recommending the particular solution that best fulfils the identified needs.
  • Make presentations on DBP's solution offerings to the potential clients
  • Discuss Client's requirements on a high level
  • Validate if DBP has the right solution to their business needs
  • Lead generation by reaching out to potential clients thru various channels
  • Develop a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, social media connects, personal relationships, cross selling, references and other means with value to meet or exceed productivity and quota expectations.
  • The right person shall be offered a regular job with the company after the successful completion of traineeship program.
